I'M BACK EARLY FROM DEPLOYMENT BECAUSE MY FATHER DIED OF CANCER. NOTHING NEW REALY WITH THE Z BECAUSE ITS BEEN IN HYBERNATION EVER SINCE I GOT TO MONTANA. I'M TRYING TO GET A SET OF HKS INTERCOOLERS FOR CHEAP AND HOPEFULLY I GET THEM. THIS WINTER I WILL WORK ON THE REAR SUSPENSION AND OTHER STUFF IF I GET THE TIME AND IF THE AIRFORCE DOESNT DEPLOY ME BACK TOO SOON.

I JUST PUT IN A USED STOCK TURBO KIT($400 FROM A USED PARTS DEALER) IN MY CAR TO REPLACE THE BEAT UP ONES I HAD. NOW RUNNING 14PSI. TURNS OUT THAT THE 300ZX TURBOS ARENT REALY UP TO THE TASK WHEN IT COMES TO 18 PSI BOOST, OR MY SWITCH FROM MINERAL OIL TO SYNTHETIC KILLED THE TURBO SEALS.

TODAY I ATTENDED MY FIRST CAR SHOW EVER WITH MY 300ZX AFTER THE MAKEOVER. IT WAS THE 9th ANNUAL 4th SERVICES SQUADRON CAR, TRUCK,AND CYCLE SHOW AT SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE IN GOLDSBORO, NC(my home base). I DIDNT WIN ANYTHING BUT IT DOESNT MATTER. I HAD SOME VERY STRONG COMPETITION. THE VOTING SYSTEM WAS ALL SCREWED UP THOUGH. THE CLASS I WAS IN-LATE IMPORT- SHOULD HAVE WENT TO AN AWSOME HONDA CIVIC THAT WAS COMPLETELY DONE UP, BUT AN OLD 1968 VW BEETLE WON! WTF! THE CLASS WAS FOR 1976 AND AFTER. ON TOP OF THAT, HE ALSO WON EARLY IMPORT, 1975 AND PRIOR, WITH THE SAME CAR! SOMEONE IS A RETARD!

I'VE BEEN DRIVING MY Z VERY LITTLE SINCE I GOT IT BACK BECAUSE IT HAS NO STATE INSPECTION STICKER. BUT WHEN I DO GET TO DRIVE IT, IT CREATES ALOT OF ATTENTION. ALMOST TOO MUCH. I THINK THAT IT HAS ALMOST CAUSED ACCIDENTS FROM PEOPLE STARING AT MY CAR AND NOT THE ROAD. WHEN I PUT MY FOOT INTO IT, I TEND TO LOOSE TRACTION. MY TIRES DONT SEEM TO MAKE ANY NOISE AT ALL BUT THE "SQURELIENESS" AND THE BLACK RUBBER POWDER ON MY REAR BUMPER TELLS ME THAT I NEED EITHER WIDER WHEELS, OR TRACTION CONTROL. MORE PICTURES TO COME.
