MetzgerMeister's 1979 Ford Mustang

When my dad got the car it was a four banger still in good condition and never really driven. Body is in pretty straight condition, but needs a little work... i still have some plans for it...

Well after 2 years of driving it with the four banger i craved for more!! With my sites set on a 5.0 mustang, i thought about getting a whole new car. Then someone told me that i should just do a swap.

In a turn of some unfortuneate events that benefited me, i got a donor car. My good friend had just bought a 1987 5 liter mustang at a auction, and not even a few days later he flipped it... Good thing was he was ok but the car didnt make it..

So i saved up 425 bucks and bought the car off of him.. That would be the start of 3 and a half long weeks for a total conversion.

Hey sweet '79! We have nearly the same car, mine's just got a crazy history being an ex police car. Gotta love the four eyed cars! I can't say i'm a big fan of the stripes but it's definately an eye catcher and original looking. Actually i like the part in front of the scoop but not the stripes on the sides. Great choice in wheels as well! I'm looking to do a 5 lug swap but right now i'm focused on getting some body work done and then paint. Give mine a look!

Looks Damn Good I have always been a FAN of the Square Headlight Cars! Check out My T-Top! I think You'll like it! I DID ALL the Work MYSELF!!! Your car is the Speed Density Computer with an automatic!! Get a 5-Speed Trany and clutch assembly and it will bolt right up and work with out having to change to mass air!! YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!
