**Update 10/23/06** The mach got put away for the winter yesterday. It was good to drive it one last time even though there was snow on the ground. It still ran great after sitting for a month. Even had the chance to show up a couple cars on the highway. *notice: this didn't actually happen and is just a figment of my imagination wink wink* Now I just have to chase down a gremlin in the audio system and it'll be better than ever. I'm lookin at a couple new cars which I threw some pics on page 7. Thanks for lookin everybody and have a good winter modding season!

I bought my 1973 Mustang Mach 1 in February of 2004. It was in primer when I got it and we have since done all of the bodywork and painted it Medium Blue Metallic. Over the winter we will add a black hood and Mach 1 side stripes.

It was a long trip home to Melfort from Battleford because the heater gave out near P.A. and there was also low oil pressure. We had to leave it in P.A. over night and my dad and uncle brought it home the next day on a trailer. It had new brakes and KYB Gas-A-Just shocks when I got it. One of the first things my dad and I did was rebuild the motor. Paint was not the first priority being that it does not add horsepower.

All of the pictures on this page are from when I first got my car home. Since then I have done quite a bit but it is still a work in progress.

My car has a rebuilt 302 2V (pics on page 3)and a C6 automatic. I want to switch to a 4 or 5 speed manual. There is already a clutch pedal set-up in it so it shouldn't be too hard of a swap. The rear-end is a non-posi 3.55. We still have to check over the rear-end and if it is in need of work I want to switch to a 3.91 posi.

Upcoming Projects:
-paint hood and put on Mach 1 stripes
-new door panels

Future Projects:
-new 15" Magnum 500 wheels
-4 or 5 speed manual transmission
-3.91 posi rear end
-rear spoiler, and rear window louvers
-351 Cleveland engine

Hi Kyle, nice work. Get your dad to get going on his Stang. Next time I see your Mustang, I will check it out. I seen her sitting at the shop a couple of weeks ago. I don't have a Mustang, but they are one of my favourites, and have been since I was a teen. Keep up the great work, she's pretty darn sweet. Bob.

I love the `73 Mach, she's beautiful in that color. Nice work on the body and the engine compartment. My son runs a Cleveland in his `67--he loves them. He is getting ready to build his fourth and use his current as a spare--this one doesn't have enough HP for him, so... Keep up the good work and enjoy! Hope the weather warms up for you soon.
