Cold air blower

The 4" hole in the middle is where my home made cold air blower sucks air from. I gained 1.5 tenths/sec in the 1/8 mile. It also keeps my time pretty consistant for those friday night bracket races. It blows cold air all around the K&N cone filter keeping that area cool, and not allowing the filter to inhale hot air from the engine.
The white piece is a 4" blower fan that I purchased at a local boat store. The silver dryer vent tube I purchased at Home Depot.
I cut a 4" hole in the wheel well. The tube is just under the filter and angled so that it blows all around it. No!!! It is not atttached to the intake, BIG no no.
Here is a pic so you can see the tube under the filter.
If you have a so called "cold air intake", drive your vehicle for a little bit to let heat build up under the hood, especially in heavy traffic (rush hour). Then feel the intake and the area around the filter. Not so cold now is it?
With the intake tube wrapped and cool air filling all around the filter area, it is now a "cool air intake"!!!
