Performance Mods

****NEW transmission**** Not new anymore, damn its been almost a year already????? 2 weeks before last Thanksgiving (2006)reverse started going out, only working when the tranny was cold. Then on Thanksgiving I left a green light and it didn't shift into 4th, things went south real quick. I pulled over, checked fluid and the obvious, no problems found. Got back on road, now no 1st or 4th....damn I'm screwed. Now I have an excuse to get a new tranny. But this is my daily driver so I have to get one fast. I hit up the "net" and found GMEN transmission. I found them on ebay and called the number on the listing at 9:00pm Thanksgiving night and spoke to Rob for about 30min......while he was out at the local sports bar with his family. !!!!!Now thats customer service!!!!! They are the only ones that service my tranny and to this day I still get top notch service.

I got the Executioner 4L60E....it is one BADASS transmission, spins 2nd on command, doesn't miss a beat. I'm at the bottom of their Testimonials page. You can trust the Gmen for your transmission needs.

The newest I just got 9/6/07....Detroit Truetrac. fastmoney's 2002 Chevrolet Blazer fastmoney's 2002 Chevrolet Blazer UPDATE!!!! Bearings and seals will be here friday 9/14. Install scheduled for
thursday 9/20. Will post pics and hopefully video

I found sadler powertrain their ebay store, I'm also getting all my bearings and seals from them and the front wheel bearing assemblies. They have better prices than local auto parts stores and their parts are all brand name. Customer service is awesome as well.

Some pics under the hood.

My MSD6A would get real hot under the hood, so I figured I could prolong its life by putting it in the glovebox.

fastmoney's 2002 Chevrolet BlazerK&N FIPK wrapped with fiberglass heat shield. De-screened MAF,removed TB blade diffuser,TPS mod,cold air blower(homemade see page 4).

fastmoney's 2002 Chevrolet BlazerFlex-a-lite e-fans w/thermostat and A/C relay, 180* T-stat.

fastmoney's 2002 Chevrolet BlazerPicks of my JBA ceramic coated headers. Finally installed. Took me 2 days and did it all by myself. Pain in the ass, but well worth the money. I would recommend this to be the first mod anybody makes.

fastmoney's 2002 Chevrolet Blazer Energy Suspension motor mounts (passenger side pic), also have ES trans mount.

fastmoney's 2002 Chevrolet Blazer Another pic of pass. side.
Stock mounts don't work too well when the driver side is in two pieces.

fastmoney's 2002 Chevrolet Blazer Driver side.

fastmoney's 2002 Chevrolet Blazer Lakewood traction bars. Eliminate wheel hop, cut down on body roll (makes for better handling in curves) and keeps pinion angle correct when the hammer is put to the floor.

fastmoney's 2002 Chevrolet Blazer The latest thing to blow money on.............custom aluminum driveshaft.......well it looks pretty.

Other mods....Custom exhaust with high flow performance cat and Flowmaster Super40. Custom aluminum driveshaft, Yukon 4.10 gear, Lakewood traction bars (suck but get the job done), Optima yellow top battery, underdrive pullies, Energy Suspension poly motor and trans mounts.

Future Mods!!!
New (functional) cowl hood
I had a bunch of other stuff here but ya know, all this money and I could have had a kick ass 350ci with badass tranny and rearend. So that is my goal, to hook this thing up with a 350 or ls1. But that will be a couple of years down the road as of now.

Don't forget to sign my guest book.
