This 1969 Pontiac Parisienne Sports Coupe was built at GM Oshawa and delivered in May, 1969. I purchased it privately in October of 1998 in the condition seen here.
Seen here in this later outdoor shot, while out crusing the countryside, is an installed set of American Racing 'Venture' Series 636s mated to BFG T/A Radials.
This Parisienne is equiped with a 350 cu. in. SBC rated at 300 bhp, and an automatic transmission. The engine has been rebuilt.
Modifications include an Edelbrock intake, and a Crane Cams ignition module sending a hotter spark through Taylor wires. The dual snorkle is a unique feature, refashioned from two factory single snorkle units.
Interior design for the Parisienne is clean, modest and typical for models of that year. The lack of instruments in the dash board urged me to take measures into my own hand with the installation of some slick Autometer Ultralite gauges. The console is a custom unit, built with aluminum inlay, tinted beech wood veneer and leather side padding, all colored to match the factory interior. A Rosewood styled steering wheel also replaces the factory unit.
