Wired FM Modulator Install

I wanted to connect any auxillary audio device to my stock "Moon & Tunes" package. I purchased a wired FM Modulator.

Metra BB-FMM0D02

This was a pretty simple install.

I used another forum members pictoral how to for guidence,
http://matrixowners.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=25001

The hardest part was finding a place for the "box" to go.
I first wanted it to go in the center console armrest storage area , but space and wiring would not allow. I temporarly had put it in the glove box. Then settled here (picture soon)

For the Ground wire I used a frame mount behind the glove box and on the left bottom bolt under the cabin air cleaner.

For the power lead I did add a little of extra wire to reac to the dash 12 volt socket and taped the power wire. (its gray)

The Antenna input will need the GM antenna adapter to go from the modulator to the GM antenna input on the Radio. You will also need the Gm adapter to go from the stock antenna to the modulator. I did not do this as I do not listen to FM much.

The system works great. I mainly will be usuing the laptop with it so I can listen to my large music collection as well as get GPS instructions on road trips.
