I bought this thing for $350 back in '03. I fixed up a few things, then in 2005, I cut the top off with about 8 cutting wheels on a grinder. Then I used about 13 cans of orange spraypaint from Home Depot. I had to replace the motor around the same time, using an old crusty I found in a local wrecking yard. After a Krylon rebuild, it was all ready to cruise. I drove this thing from Seattle to L.A and back, and it did fine.
I finally sold it in 2006 for $400. Hey, I'm not looking to make a profit.. lol
