Iethiopian's 1963 Ford Falcon

This is the crap that came out of the tank. Even though we had previously fluhed it and the lines the problem came back to haunt me. So I ordered a new 20gal tank which I put in "Horus" my 64 Sprint http://members.cardomain.com/iethiopian and installed the Sprint tank in "Isis" the 63.
The larger tank will not work in the early falcons with single exhaust. The stock muffler ends up right aginst the side of the tank. This is fine if you like to pre heat your fuel but not advised.

Here is a picture of the beast that drives this little bird, not the cat, that's just a kitty.
Gave this engine a through tune up when I got her home and she runs like a charm. Nice little power plant this 250 especially with the 5 speed drive train. Have not decided where I?m going with this one yet, having thoughts of an Aussie head, more cam, carb and headers, dual exhaust, cone shaped tips on the pipes exiting just in front of the rear tire. On the other hand might go mild small block V-8 I will have a 260 Sprint core soon. Hummmmm?

About to drop in sway bars, Monte Carlo Bar, and new shocks.

These cats really like hanging out with my birds. It is a good thing Isis is sleeping otherwise meow would me me-ouch!

Did an upgrade to a Ford Duralite II electronic ignition puled at the junk yard from a later model Mustang packing a 250ci. 02/05/05

Pulled the valve covers, plugs, coil and misc. componets, cleaned the block and went at it with a wire brush and wire wheel, masked with tape, new paint (Ford Blue) and gaskets. Topped it off with a little bit of Bling on the carb. 02/05/05
