HERE ARE SOME NEW PICTURES ADDED TO THE SECOND PAGE. THE 65 IS ALMOST DONE ON THE EXTERIOR. This is my 65 SS. Under construction. Hope to have it finished by spring of 06.Has 165,000 original miles on the frame. Currently has a refreshed SB 327 and a muncie 4 speed.Waiting for a big block. All factory untouched original, except for new paint and very minor body work. Very little rust in body panels and the normal rust was in the trunk. It has an all new trunk floor. Interior is in need of a re-do. Ralley's with 255/60-15 front and 275/60-15 rear. I am the third owner. The car was built in Los Angeles and first sold in Lynden, WA. I bought it from the second owner in Ferndale, WA. over 8 years ago.
This is the almost finished car. Some dis-assembly and minor body work Body work to primer @ the 4th month The drivable - close to finish car @ the 6th month into the resto. I was told (warned) by a good friend, who has already done a resto on his 81 Z/28 Camaro, that after paint I would not want to put any of the old chrome or stainless back on the car until I get it redone or re-placed. Damn if he wasn't right!!!
