DECONSTRUCTION and REBIRTH II
This page is for the ongoing deconstruction of my 82 Rampage.
Some shots showing the car without the wheel well chrome, rocker chrome, aftermarket door trim and 2.2 side scoops.

I knew the floors were bad on the Rampage, but I was not prepared for this sea of rust. Good thing the Chargers pans are much better.

Took apart the rear end.

Removed the front clip.

Removed the Dash.

Just need to remove the engine, doors and hood.

Removed the rear sliding window.

Removed the Rusted Floors
First we cut out the cross brace that the front of the seats bolt to.

This is the drivers side brace.

Then we cut and peeled back the floors around the front sub frame. We found two spots where someone had pop riveted patches from the underside in the past.

No more rusty floors

A common spot for rot is the base of the windshield. I removed the windshield and it is pretty clean there.

Removed the doors.

Stripped the paint off the bed sides.

N/A Engine Removed.
