Latest Pics.

Currently converting to a Shelby Tribute. I will finally get what I have wanted since I bought Cortney, I bought a battered 86 Shelby Charger that I will be getting the Turbo I engine, 5 speed trans, wiring, bigger brakes, 5 lug wheels, factory AC and interior out of. Also will be installing Rear Disc Brakes from a Shelby Daytona. The body work and paint will be done and I hope to have her back on the road by spring 2010. Of course my site will be updated often showing the progress. The first steps will be deconstructing both cars and rebuilding the engine. Now that both cars have been stripped and the engine has been refurbished the next step will be porting the head and body work.
Also coming: Rhino Liner. 3rd Brake Light. Power Windows.

Here's a Pic of what she looked like when I bought her in January 2004. Stock except for black painted rims, 2.2 hood and side scoops and a homemade bed cover. This is the pic from the guys e-bay listing. Drove up to Philly and drove her back, from the PA title I found she was originally from VA.
Pic of my first mods, the front with the Shelby hood, bumper and spoiler.
Looks basically stock from the rear. Shelby emblem from a Shelby Lancer. Sliding rear window. Rear bumper removed.
Side view showing Shelby Rampage Stripe.

Original interior showing my first interior mods, full console, swapped in GLHS Steering Wheel and aftermarket pedals.
Custom shifter knob.
Tach and gauge pod.
Pre rebuild engine shot, showing early Shelby Chrome Valve Cover and silver painted aircleaner lid. Looking a little tired.

OTHER L-BODIES I'VE OWNED
This is actually my second Rampage. I had an 84 that I owned from 1990 to 1997.

I also owned an 87 Charger from 1994 to 1998.

My 87 Shelby Charger.

The 86 Shelby I bought as a parts car.

My 89 Turbo Caravan CV.

86 600ES Turbo.

TOY RAMPAGES
The Hot Wheels Rampage.

The Strombecker Rampage.

The Schaper Stomper Rampage.

The one and only Shelby parts chaser Rampage. Made by the guys at the Shelby factory, but never made for the general public.

There was however a local Califorinia Special Edition made in 1984 that looked much like the Shelby parts chaser. Known as the DC Rampage, Califoria Rampage and even the Shelby Rampage. It was an add on only model and highly prized as the lowest made at about 218.

The Canadian DC Rampage from 1983.
Just a cool project someone had done. I had wanted to do this since I owned my first Rampage.
