UPDATE: I edited the Poll, there were too many choices (sorry, Vega Owners!!), and it reset the votes... I Tried to get it back to where it was, but it looks like cardomain FINALLY fixed the cookies off voting. So, Vote, and let your voice be heard!!!! :)
Welcome to the Mirage Zone. Seen below is my 1977 Chevrolet Monza Mirage. The Mirage was a special package created for the Monza by Michigan Auto Techniques. There were only 4097 of these beautiful cars ever made (From the factory, there have been a few reproductions). I estimate theres around 50 left in working order, and I've only seen 10 or so that are in this nice of condition. This car underwent a 10 year restoration, and currently is awaiting it's new 380hp 350SBC and 12-Bolt Rear. Before the engine was pulled, my specs were: 325HP/340ftLb, 14.1 in the quarter. I expect with the new rear and engine I'll be running low 12's to high 11's, as I'll finally be able to hook up without worrying about shredding my rearend. Here are some pics of the car, when I got it about a year ago.
The car is coming along well, while the motor is out, I touched up several spots in the engine bay, and did some undercar detailing also, as she had gotten pretty dirty on the ride from Florida to Virginia Beach. I should be getting the engine back from the shop (Balance and Blueprinting in Progress) Around the middle of January, and I can't wait to get this Bad Boy Back on the road!
