What make her go is a 400 cid engine im not sure out of what but the casting number indicates its a 4 bolt main. It does run he said but you can never trust anyone so i spun the fan and it moves!....so far so good. The backseat is gone and two thunderbird seats are in place for the driver/pass. So needless to say a yank here and tug there and the inside is stripped..I like that better anyway since I'll be adding my own touches to the car. Now with all that space in the back do i replace the trunk bottom and wheel wells to stock...and custom make a back end to tub it out?....Leave your thoughts.$$$$$OK well after sittin in my garage for a few days I have come to a fdew conclusions...First I'll list the good beofre the bad...Front clip(fenders, hood etc.) are in great shape...all the chrome is there and the inside gauges and dash are excellent, the rear bumper no dings or dents. Tons of stuff on this Chevy can be used towards one with a more...stable body or finish your project.... as well as the trunk lid is like new!...Frame is salvagable surface rust throughout...front crossmember is rusted but most likely get replaced by a Mustang II sus. anyway. Body mounts on tub and underneath i think would be to much work for what its worth. With that being said and it will be a while before I even turn a wrench on her, It will be up for sale until i start. If its sold its sold if not, Theres no turning back.
