Hey, it's only right that there be music on this page, at least you can choose which song you want to hear. :)

Nothing new here, I just got sick of not having any decent pics of my receiver. So I took some time and tricked my crapy camera into taking some good pics.

Got some new speakers for the front. I completed my speaker set with all Cadence speakers now. The rears are 6X9, and the fronts are 6.5" Component system speakers. Install took a few hours for decisions and clean proffesional look. Came out pretty good, and the sound is opresively awesome!!!
Video of the 6.5" speakers in action!

Got a new pair of Cadance 6"x9" speakers for the back. I blew out one of my JVCs in the rear. The new speakers are rated for 150watts RMS, 300watts MAX. They have 40oz magnets, and are aluminum cone 3 ways.

Here is my Power Acoustics OV4-600 amplifier. I wanted it to be at an angle so I could tuck the wires under it, and so it would have good ventilation. The bracket I made is painted in high gloss Ford blue.

Here are the 6x9 3-way JVC speakers that I have in the rear. And as you may notice those are not JVC speaker grills. They are cheap $10 pioneer speaker grills. They look more stock and keep people from wanting to break into my car for them.

Also I rewired the line in fro my MP3 player so that it is under the carpet now. YAY I get to close my change tray again! I also wired up a converter to it so it now gets power in my car. This means that I never have to take it out again. Only to put new songs on it. And I also took a pic of my receiver when it is in its open position. I dont let it do that too often so it usually just looks like a flat screen.

Here is an animation of the lights that I added to the amp. I placed them in the air passages on the sides of the amp that you can see above. They light up with the beat of the music. Also to the right is a picture of how I am able to carry my 8000 songs with me anywhere I go. I bought an adaptor for my receiver so that I could use RCA pair for line in. So, I then got a wire that was about 5' with one end of female RCAs and a headphone plug on the other end, and VUALA'! I can play anything with headphone out though my stereo, and at 0 repeat "0" loss of quality, as is the case with those FM senders.

NO!! THAT IS NOT AN IPOD!!!! I am smart and instead of paying $500 for a 40GB IPod to carry my 30GB of music, I paid $250 for a 40GB Creative Nomad Zen Extra. Oh, and unlike the greedy pig that Apple is, I get my case included with my MP3 player; I didn't have to pay more to get it. Sorry for that, but I hate that apple gets all the credit for cool electronics, when they make worthlessly incompatible, over priced crap; and they always make you buy additional items from them to get the features that they advertised as part of the original purchase.

Nice Ride! The engine setup has given me some great ideas for my 87. Check it out! The fan is also a great idea, because in the long road I might try to custom fit a 5.0 HO Turbo in there. 5 STARS!

Wow. That's a lot of information. I just bought some Autolite spark plugs and wires for my '89 Country Squire. Should I exchange them for something else. If so, what? I think what I chose is mid-grade. I'm on a pretty tight budget.
