In peroration for the track events that I'll be doing, I got some new seats. Thanks to my parents for getting them for my b-day! They are actually a great deal though, real leather reclining seats with sliders, $400 for the pair!!!!! I got some rectangular 3/4" X 1-1/2" .125" wall aluminum tubing. to use for the mounting brackets. I made them myself and they worked out great. Yeah, I don't have the carpet in there, I took it out for the manual install and decided not to put it back in till I get some new stuff.

Well I finished up a new speedometer cluster custom gauge setup. Much better than my old one, in my opinion. This time I used Autometer Cobalt gauges. One mechanical Oil Pressure and electrical Water Temp gauge. A little drilling, wiring, cutting and dremel action and it fits like a charm! Enjoy!
First a refresher on the old setup.

I have replaced my wiper and turn signal lever with new ones. Much nicer, the peeling chrome was really bothering me.

Got some new floor mats off the web. First time I have ever spent more than $6 on a set of floor mats. Well, they look good, the rear could stand to be a little larger, but the front ones fill in very nicely.

I got a new bezel for the instrument cluster, and also did a good bit of detailing to the interior. I also did the exterior, but that is else where on my site.

Here is a picture of the extra switches that I have labeled with what they do.

To the left is my hiding block. Not that I really want to use it, I made when I had other not so pretty things sitting there. The other pics are the cold cathode (dont let the name fool you, they aint cold) lights on the inside of the trunk lid. They are simply the ones that go inside a computer. I used these because they are about $12, and they strait up use 12V power. :-)

Up next are the gauges, which I didn't do these myself. My Dad did this when it was still his car. I think it looks great, though I'm not particularly fond of the voltmeter covering up my speed. The odometer reads 260,000 miles. To the right is the best I could get this camera to take a pick of the blue lights in the dark.

Last is a picture of the tachometer that I still need to do, and my JVC ElKameleon CD player. I just couldn't see puttin some flashy silver receiver there, and this looks like it was made for the car.

Nice Ride! The engine setup has given me some great ideas for my 87. Check it out! The fan is also a great idea, because in the long road I might try to custom fit a 5.0 HO Turbo in there. 5 STARS!

Wow. That's a lot of information. I just bought some Autolite spark plugs and wires for my '89 Country Squire. Should I exchange them for something else. If so, what? I think what I chose is mid-grade. I'm on a pretty tight budget.
