1986 SVT Crown Victoria (born 11/1985) 

The first thing that should be noted is that since the car has been in the family (since 1993) 99.9% of all work and modding done to this car was done by my Father or I only. After my Father did the engine swap all other modifications shown here were done by me or with the invaluable help of my Father. None of this would have happened if not for him. Absolutely no one has ever put a wrench to this car besides me or my Father, unless they were helping one of us do something.

The basic performance mods done to my Vic are; a crate Ford 95 5.0L HO, a free flow 2-1/2" exhaust, 1-5/8 ported headers, high flow cats, tweaked MAF sensor, 1.7 roller rockers, a T5 manual transmission, Hurst short through shifter, King Cobra stage 3 clutch, 3.55 rear gear, Detroit TruTrac torsion differential, racing springs, all poly bushings throught the car, Tokico HP shocks, Hawk HP+ pads, 17X9 wheels with 275/40 tires, and one crazy driver!

I have raced the Vic on Virginia International Raceway full course, as well as the Shenandoah circuit at Summit Point, participated in local Auto-x events, and done a few drift events as well.  As I now have a dedicated track car, it has been setup to also be able to tow my car trailer and track car when I go to events.  Which it does surprisingly well.  And I'll still take it out at events sometimes.

Accomplishment

A while back I was entered into the CarDomain Mobile 1 Face Off contest that was featured on the front page. After a week of voting I was anounced the winner on Monday August 27th of 2007! Pretty cool that I was even selected let alone won.

This is a pic of my Vic at #1 out of all 163 LTD Crown Vics on CarDomain on 10/18/06. May not be a big thing, but I wanted to say thanks to all those who enjoyed looking at my car.

And this is a pic of my Vic at #3 out of 58,175 Fords on CarDomain!! (10/18/06) This is with 17,812 hits on site, this day happens to also be exactly 22 months on CarDomain!!!!

After inflating my head, I figure I should compensate by being modest. So here is a list of, in my opinion the three best LTD Crown Vics.

#1 MRLTD's 89 LTD Country Squire, with countless ultra clean mods and numerous autocross events!
#2 Ford50Only5's 85 Vic, with LOTS of custom work to it.
#3 murphmobile's 85 Vic (Murph Deuce), for all of the excellent and original work on his car.
