"NEW" STEREO
Another find from the Pull-A-Part Peugeot was a nice stereo system consisting of an Alpine 7525 head unit, A/D/S amp, crossovers, 6X4 two-ways, 5" round mids, 1" tweeters, and all wiring. There was even an owners manual and brochure for the Alpine.

The Alpine head unit, A/D/S crossover boxes, and A/D/S tweeters were mounted in overhead console built from old 3/4" wood shelves (and stain) that my landlady was throwing away. The console was built short enough to allow full use of the visors (more Pull-A-Part pieces- $3.50 a pair).

The 5" A/D/S mids (and 6X9 Jensen Triax II's that came with van) were mounted in doors. The 6X4's were mounted in corner panels between walls and rear cargo doors. The amp is mounted in small cabinet over pass-side rear fenderwell.
While it still needs a pair of 10 or 12" woofers and a 6-disc CD player, total cost of the system so far is only $52.00 and it sound great to me!
