This is the story of my 1987 Pontiac Trans Am. My girlfriend found this car in a scrapyard just outside Niagara Falls Ont. I thought the find was a great one. I heard a little noise from what I thought was the catalytic converter but other than that it was a good running car. I talked the guy down from $1200.00 to $800.00 as is, slapped some plates on it and was ready for the drive home.
After the 80km+ drive back home, I discovered that the harmless catalytic converter noise was actually a spun
main bearing. Pulled the engine. After I bought a used 1985 305 cid from a friend a work (if you think my car looks good, check out his under joekar in my friends list.) The car was ready for a little fun before the winter.
