This is my baby, a 1978 plymouth Super Coupe. There was Only 494 of them made, thats why you havent heard of it. I picked up my car at a car show at Dragway 42, in Salem Ohio.

My car is pretty much left stock with a few small things done to it. It has the original 360 small block in it. but the Lean burn system has been ripped off of it, for those of you who know about older Mopars.

This car was made in a sad day for Performance cars, with the Government limiting the smog they produced. My car was one of the fastest cars made in 78, if not the fastest. Stock it ran a 16.7 quarter mile, and had a 8.1 0-60. SAD FOR A MUSCLE CAR HUH? But the 1977 Trans am with a 400 in it, used in the movie "Smoky and the bandit" was even slower. My car has a few Performance upgrades to it though. Like I said before, the Lean Burn system has been disabled, which helped alot. It has an Edelbrock Intake manifold, and a 750 cfm Carb. The stock single pipe exhaust was replaced by a Stainless steel dual exhaust, with Cherry Bomb turbo mufflers. Stock the car had 160 horses, But Im estimating about 250 now. It ran a Qtr mile in 15.7 for the guy who had it before me, but I have yet to run it. Thats all I have for right now, But I am planning on changing out the cam, and The Car has a 2.70 Suregrip rear end in it, And im looking for a 3.55 or maybe even a 4.10 for it. i have been told that will take alot off of my Qtr mile time.
