Here you get to see a few pics of a classic Nissan, and also of a more modern Nissan. The first pics are of a 1970 KPGC10 Nissan "Hakosuka" Skyline GT-R.
I was given the oportunity to test drive an R34 GT-R for a friend of mine who is currently back stateside. After getting intimate with the 34-R, I went back to the lobby of the company holding the car to find this...

I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I have always wanted to own one of these, the first generation GT-R. Although the original KPGC10 GT-R was a 4 door, the two doors had a more appealing body line to me. I fell in love with it the first time I ever saw it. The original GT-R was debuted in 1969 as a four door with the famous S20, 2,000cc, 2.0L inline 6 cylinder engine, producing about 175 horse power. The S20, unlike some of Nissan's other engines, reacted well to modifications and could create good horspower for it's time. The car that ran at Fuji speedway in the 70's was rated around 300 horse power, all motor, naturally aspirated.
It was called the "Hakosuka", (pronounced hah-koh-ska) which translates to, "Boxy Skyline" This body style ran till 1974 which brought the KPGC110 KenMari Skyline.
Back to this one though.
This car has been meticulusly restored to almost factory original, with a few added upgrades. Exhaust, pistons, cams and ignition. Beautiful inside and out.

The next car, 1995 Nissan Slivia K's Tech Arts Demo/Drift car.
The owner of this car is the same guy that led me to the free RB20DET engine I am now the proud owner of.
This car has way to much done to list, but a few things you might find interesting are the custom hood, (which took about 40 hours to craft) that keeps cold air flowing over the intercooler. The replacement FRP front fenders, and the rear overfenders. The body kit is all custom made by Tech Arts, located in Yashio, Japan. The front bumper is an aftermarket, and unfortunately, I forgot who makes it...lol.
This car has an S13 Red Top SR20DET, Nissan Pulsar GTi-R intake manifold, Apex'I turbine, (unsure of brand) turbo back exhaust, horizontal mount intercooler, twin angle mounted radiators, re-positioned MAFS, GT-R fuel pump, 440 GT-R injectors, HKS fuel pressure regulator and Blitz boost controller. The total output of his engine is 380PS which could be said to about 360HP give or take a few. There are many other parts to list, but I can't remember them all, and it would take way to long to type.
So, enjoy the pics.
