New Stuff Here!!!
So, you came back for more did ya? Wanted to see what this bitch is all about.
Here is the front pipe with the O2 housing out from under the car.

Well, here is the wastegate screamer. (Look on page 1 to see what it looked like before I got it changed.)

A test fit on the turbo, with no front pipe.

Fully installed with front pipe connected.

Now, some of you wonder what it may sound like. Well, since the wastegate/exhaust separator doesn't fit exactly flush with the turbine housing, there is a little bit of leak by that comes out the screamer tube. It's not bad at regular/no boost, but when she hits full boost and the wastegate opens, it gets loud as hell. Think of what a car with open headers sounds like, and that is what the Laurel sounds like at full boost.
Check the video page and listen for yourself.
Now, onto some other things. Last summer, I had some time and some spare valve covers sitting around, so I decided to get busy and did some maintenence on them. I took a wire wheel to them and got off most of that coating on the covers, then took some rattle can, hi-temp flat black and got busy.
First pic is of the driver side cover, the next is the pass cover (right after spraying a 3 coat, hence the glossyness)

Also, a few months after putting those on, I went to a Super Autobacs with a friend of mine to do a Power Check. I know it's not a real dyno, but it's close enough to one.

Needless to say, I was happy with the results. 240ps and I was only at about .83 bar of boost. I could probably get just the short side of 250 if I turn the boost up to about .9, but I really don't have the time to get back down there for a check.
NOTE: Everything below here was last updated February, 2007
This pic just speaks for itself. Beautiful
A look at the smallest of the RB series. By no means a slouch, this engine is plenty capable of making good horsepower with a minimal amount of cash.
Man that is a sexy looking rear end. I just love the look of the stock spoiler. No Erector Set wing for me. If anything, I will take the spoiler off.
Inside looks clean for a car that is 15 years old. That's right...a manual...thank you to the donor R32 Skyline GTS-t that got my automatic.
Wish I could read the brand name under the muffler...it's all scratched up...not by me of course...it was like that when I got it.
