My car suffered a flywheel failure while I was tracking at Autobahn Raceway in Joliet, IL. The shop which installed my JWT flywheel didn't put red locktite on the flywheel bolts. Because there was no locktite on the flywheel bolts, two flywheel bolts backed out and four others snapped. After I dropped the transmission and saw the damaged I had only one option; replace the crankshaft. So at 19500 miles I replaced the crankshaft, replaced crankshaft, rod & thrust bearings. I also installed a brand new JWT flywheel. I completed the rebuilt on December 3rd, 2007. The car fired right up without problems.
