Blue fabric inserts in the bucket seats contrast with the predominately black interior theme. This is a early picture when the truck had a manual transmission.

Electronic Climate Control (EATC) adapted from a Mercury Mountaineer. Temperature, fan speed and delivery point are controlled automatically. Overrides are also available for manual operation. Remote sensors measure interior temperature, exterior temperature and sun load to provide input to the head unit.

This Explorer Limited steering wheel and airbag has been installed in my Ranger. Integrated switches in the wheel provide controls for the EATC, speed control and sound system.

Convenient selection of AM, FM, tape, in-dash CD or 6-disc CD changer mode. Buttons also control listening volume and select one of 18 presets or select desired CD track. EATC temperature and fan speed can be adjusted using their rocker switches.

The factory fog lamps are controlled by a switch in the radio bezel. A second OEM switch was added by cutting a hole in the bezel. It adds an on-off capability to the KC driving lights.

High output Explorer Mach dual media head unit with EATC climate control and Trip Computer below. The Explorer HU controls a remote 6-disc CD changer from an F150 Lightning.

Tapping into the Ranger's speedometer output from the PCM allows the Explorer head unit to adjust volume based on vehicle speed (SSV).

This switch can disable the ABS system for off road use only. It was adapted from a 2005 Explorer.

Overhead console from an Explorer displays a digital readout for compass direction and ambient temperature measured by a remote sensor. It also features dome and map lights and a garage door opener compartment.

Full length center console from an Explorer houses the trip computer and heated seat switches. It has been reshaped on the driver side to clear the transfer case shifter.

Rangers with factory power windows have one-touch auto-down on the driver's side window. The addition of a module from a Taurus provides the same feature on the passenger side window.

All rocker buttons now read "AUTO" to match the function of the switches.
