I AM ALWAYS LOOKING FOR FELLOW ISUZU'S TO WHEEL WITH.
OLD AMIGO RIP

Thanks for visiting my on going love affair with all things Isuzu. I'll start out with a little background info about just how all of this got started.
When I first got my license back in April of 2004 I began the awful task of first car shopping. After literally weeks of looking we came across a 94 Isuzu Amigo 2x4 rebuilt vehicle. Now granted I knew little to nothing about Isuzu's (actually considered Troopers grocery getters), so I was skeptical to say the least, but I just couldn't help but like the way it looked. It smelled awful, and didn't have a radio in it, but the price was right (or so we thought) After owning this vehicle for a good 6 months I decided it was time for something new, all of my travels online looking at what other have done with their Amigos had really caught my interest, and the 2x4 just wasn't going to make the cut. Luckily my father also became captivated by the little red darling, so he looked around until he found a 90 with a few problems and got it for me. Now i have dos Amigo's, but only space enough for 1, so until I sell the 94, the 90 stays at the shop. Well I've bored you with enough background info, I'll try and revive you with some pictures. Hope you enjoy, and check back for new projects I will hopefully be doing to it over the winter and in the future.

Never really liked my front page, but am going to keep my opening paragraph, works so well.
When my father obtained this Amigo for me, it barely ran, had frame rot in the back drivers side wheel well, bad rockers, had a rodeo rear bench seat that didn't fit right and was dangerous, and had a set of decent 225/70/r15 prodigy radial AT's.

First step was to have the frame and rockers repaired by a local shop, then I junked the rodeo seat, got the engine running reliably, and abandoned the prodigy's for a set of 32/11.5 r15 procomp AT's, these are a little wide for my 6" rims, but it'll work until I get a set of optioned snowflakes.

Now Amigo's are extremely capable out of the box, and the moose has on several occasions surprised the hell out of me to witness what it was able to do, but I'd I have plans for making it even better. Check out my projects page for a more indepth plan.
