ladyemily's 1989 Plymouth VoyagerI am new here *waves hello* I am working on this site...so please excuse our mess! :)
Thanks!

Hello, thanks for visiting Vandalla's page.

I don't yet have a picture for you, I got this one from Kelley Blue book. Vandalla actually looks like a mess right now. Her stock paint is peeling; her windshield is pitted from a severe sand storm, she has one headlight?unless you put one the brights ;) She also needs a valve job, a new wiring harness, has over 250K miles and well it is a lot to list. So you may ask why I don?t send her to the junk yard? Why have you made a web page for a piece of junk? Well my answer is, we love her.

Her story
We (husband 3 kids and me) lived in Southern CA, and we were not happy.
We wanted to get away from our situation, but we had no transportation. My husband saw her sitting on a street corner with a for sale sign of $500 firm. Well we scraped up enough for the van and called the lady for a test drive. The lady was very nice, she said she was selling the van because it is in bad mechanical condition, and it is ugly.
She wanted a new van. When I got in and took it for a test drive I was hooked! It smoked a little from the exhaust, but not bad, and a bit slow from a stop. No rust, no dents, good tires. We told the lady we wanted it and she actually sold it to us for $450! We took the van in to get the smog and it passed the first time?too cool! After the oil change and a tune up the van drives much better ~ no kidding ;) We promised the van that if she could get us up north we would fix her up nice and name her Vandalla. Anyway we were able to pack up what we wanted and needed most (clothing and stuffed animals) and moved North with no problems at all! It was a very nice drive, and we will pimp her as soon as we can LOL!
So here we are, happily ever after!

Nice pontiac, I when from my van to a 96 jeep grad chero limited. If you by a cheap cherry Bomb turbo muffler for your van ($25) and build a cold air induction w/ a pice of 3in exushut pipe and a cone air filter for a 5.0l mustang It will have no promlems pulling away. If your transmition can take it you could hit 120 no problem...

That was a good story. I enjoyed hearing how your simple van came through for you when you needed it to the most. I wish you the best with it, as well as with your new life "up north". Stop by and see my Cutlass Supreme page sometime.
