Intake hose
I found another escort GT intake hose at the junkyard. I cut a few inches out of the middle and the end. I spliced the middle with a piece of 2.5" pipe and a few hose clamps

K&N Filter installed
I need to make some sort of bracket to suport it from the bottom. I'll attach it somewhere on the tranny.

Heater box modification
The heater box had to be modified to fit around the firewall patch. When I 1st cut the hole in the firewall the intake actually touches the box. The pic on the left shows how much I cut and the pic on the right shows how much room is left between the blower and cage.

Hole patch and installation pic
I took a piece of thin aluminum and cut a patch. I then used 2 part epoxy and glued it in place.

Headliner
Recovered my headliner . Went to JoAnn Fabrics, they sell headliner material with foam backing. Bought 2 yards at $10.95 a yard and then some 3M headliner adhesive from the auto parts store. So I have about $35 in this.
Took about 1.5 hours to complete. Just lay down the material on the headliner and fold the new material back half way then spray the adhesive on the material and headliner. When dry just carefully smooth out that side. Then fold over the other side and spray both with adhesive and when dry unfold and smooth. Go carefully. Also you will need a few razor blades to trim the material. I went thru about 6 of them. I was surprised how quickly they dull.

Different headliner
I got the vinyl headliner from the 88LX today. Way different than my 90. Since I want to use the entire interior from the 88 I will use this liner. Got it out without a problem just have to be very careful where its glued. Installed without any problems either.
