These are some pic's of the 1994 Nissan Maxima SE I drove for 3 years while still in college. I sold the car years ago but still see it around town from time to time. The car featured a dark grey, all-power leather interior from a GXE model, a '91 Grille and tail lights (after a fender bender), OEM mudguards, a Pioneer CD/Cassette system, automatic tranny (not by choice!), 16" Eagle alloy 5-spokes, amber tinted windows, a DOHC V6 engine, and PIAA foglamps. It was often mistaken for a 5-series BMW at night, which, incidently, is what I ended up replacing it with.
Though the car was a total blast to drive, it needed repairs pretty often. It went through two transmissions, 2 window motors, a wiring fire, 2 alternators, and some seriously cracked leather by the time I traded it in on a '63 Chevy convertible.
I really miss the car's speed and comfort, something the Volvo I drive now lacks on. I still think the 3rd generation Maximas are the nicest looking - the new ones just look like everything else these days. If I find any more pic's of the car lying around I'll post them up here.
