I changed out the old amber corner lights with some clear corner lights off the internet I bought for $22.00. I also have installed a set of hood pins for safety. Here is a new shot of the Escort with my new clear corners and hood pins.

I also installed a set of both front and rear strut bars to help out in the handling department. I could not believe the difference they made in the ride.

Here is the rear strut bar.

In order to keep the rear cover and plastic on the side panels intact I used a hole saw to cut holes to get to the shock towers for the hookup. Here is a closeup picture of the bar going to the rear shock tower.

I removed the stock air filter and installed a high flow unit in its place. I can really tell the difference in this one over the stock unit.

The front strut bar also made a big difference in the way the car handled.

Oh yes, the biggest performance and gas mileage improvement came from my new Pacesetter header. I fits just perfect.

Okay, so far, so good. What serious plans do you have for her? She's a blank canvas! Create your MASTERPIECE!!

Looks good 5stars. I would rear doors back with 20% tint. It would be a darker but at the same time keep you car cooler. I'm sure you get away with tint. Glad the escort is running like a champ.

Glad you like the escort and learned a few things. I am trying to post updates. Escort is still on the road now. Just hit 300000 miles on it. Still doing fine after pull a part supplied hood, grill, headlights, corner lights and airbags. I put in new radiato0r and new windshield to complete. I am havin trouble uploading new pictures but all is OK now . Escort running fine.

After reading everything in here, I feel like I've learned a thing or two about my escort. Lol, good job though man, and really sorry to hear about what happened with the deer, seems like there's a lot of endings like that on here.
