My '70 Torino is gold & black. Car was stock 351C-2V C4. Modified engine put in 351W-4V,Edelbrock intake & carb (600 cfm), comp cam 477-484,new starter fuel pump, MSD distributor electronic ignition, coil. All new brake system. hooker headers, flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers 2 1/2" pipe. installed driver front window from a GT that didn't work because mine is a formal roof or 2 door hard top, GT hood, new tires & wheels. Interior needs restoring exterior needs paint. My project is moving pretty good just had car since 11/02/04. Here's of few pictures of my progess. My 351W is straight up pumping hard.

got a real exact question for you.......considering i have the same car, the same color, the same top......haha......i filled all my trim holes + ground all the trim studs, filled all the holes for the formal top.....but then didnt know what to do with the pilar covers near the windsheild ends. do yours have a seam? did you fill the "grain" look in them? just curious how you got rid of the top, i am very anxious to make mine go away also. damn i wish i had b4 pics for you to see....it was identical!

i know your post was a long time back, but send me a message or something man--- mine is in primer ready to go with the formal top, or another couple days in the garage to get rid of it...pending on what to do with those window pilars-- later man it looks great!

Sweet Torino! 5 Stars from me, man. Love the paint choice and performance parts. Did you rebuild the 351 or put a new different one in? What kind of power and quarter ETs are you making?

Nice! Five stars! I used to have a 71 Torino myself. Stop by and check out my blown V8 Ranger.
