My RX-8 is sunlight silver. I bought it in mid April 2004. I had originally wanted a 350Z, but a car mag had a review of the RX-8 as a 350Z competitor... When I read about the RX-8's rotary engine, the fact that this car had no pistons intrigued me. The RX-8 was supposed to be super smooth with a 9,000+ rpm redline. I took it for a test drive and immediately forgot all about the 350Z. I still like 350Zs, but the RX-8 was the car for me, especially considering I have a 6 year old son :) Now I can take my whole family with me instead of strapping my kid to the roof.
It's a 6 speed manual, with Grand Touring and Navigation packages. Read my comments below, I have some videos of the car available to view.
This car has the following items installed: rotary accents, mazda speed spoiler, 19" x 8.0 DPK rims, 245/35YR-19 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires, 18" tint, Borla exhaust, side strakes, XM radio, OEM MP3 player, CZ 1.1 stage one kit, aldehyde cabin filter, green air filter, clear corners, and a satin gas lid.
Would you belive my wife *insisted* I get the leather seats? This car has Halogen headlights, short throw shifter, limited slip diff, and the drivetrain is carbon fiber. It came that way stock.

UPDATE:
I now have the mazdaspeed front bumper, and sideskirts (skirts not yet installed).
I also have front and rear racing beat swaybars installed. Almost no body roll now.
More importantly, my car is now getting a turbo installed!
Here it is, waiting for the install to be done...
I'll update with more pics when the turbo is done.
Being installed is the GReddy Turbo kit w/ Ultimate, Boost and EGT gauages. Boost controller, BOV, and some other crap..
