*Update* June 2006
Finally went to the track. Local 1/8 in Calhoun, GA. Ran a 8.03 @ what we believe to be 87.43 mph. Time slip says 91.43 but the consensus from everyone was that the Trap speed is 4 mph off. Best 60ft was a 1.75
1/8 run

Ditched the junk generic posi-unit for a Moser mini-spool. Turning is fun!
April 2006
The car is pretty much done. Have the Windsor Jr. aluminum heads and custom ground cam in. Finally got the car tuned and it made 260 rwhp and 253 ft-lbs with the c-4 and the 3500 edge converter. Since then the old exhaust was ditched for a homemade pro-chamber and spintech sportsmans mufflers using mandrel bent pipes. Also added a k&n stub-stack, a x-treme lid and the lightest secondary springs. Hopefully make close to 270 rwhp this time.
The next project is an '83 Capri that will get a solid flat 306 that will spin up to 7000. Hopefully get pictures soon . . .
*July 2005*
This hasn't been updated in awhile but the car has changed somewhat radically.
The c-4 has been ditched for a TCI street fighter with an edge 3500 stall converter. Traction bars and subframe connectors have been added. Flaming River Push/Pull battery cut-off switch, built 8-inch with 235/60/15 radial t/a's. So far the best run has been a 8.63 @ 79.35 mph with a 1.86 60ft at a local 1/8 track on 26x10.50 - 15 ET Streets. Next on the list is a custom cowl hood to make way for a plate set-up.
