UPDATE!!!!! 4/16/05
Tinted front side windows....last night took an hour & a half after work pulled the windows and tinted them 20% limo black. 35% is legal on the front so I'm sportin some illegal tint but its pre close to 35 only a 5% difference so its hardly noticable...pics on page 4!

This is my car, after nearly 4 months of NON STOP work....this isn’t up to date, I have changed a few things since this picture. BRAND NEW headlights since mine well.....gave up with some water leaks, Along with some other things.

This is how I got it when I bought the car, I actually tinted the rear windows before this picture, and installed my stereo of course....the OLD stereo MTX....YEAH! HAHA

Shot of during, probably 2 months into it, The original plan was to swap interiors with a 1994 XR-7 anniversary edition and make everything work BUT that went down the crapper.

this is what I ended up with a 1990 decked out Cougar got her real cheap since the tranny was going out ;-)

The new interior BUT NOT DONE need to upholster it.....have a great idea for that ;-)

About this time I changed my gauges, bought them from an awesome guy I found through cardomain

Opted for blue tick marks/numbers and red flames....he can do any color.

I have no idea when this was taken, sometime after I fixed all the door dings and any little flaws in the bodywork....ALSO the rust in the rockers......that took me forever :-|

The car is stripped down to the body, I jammed all the parts.

Sprayed the jams on the car too

Started test fitting stuff back together after the jamming was all done.

I got bored during school so this is what I came up with for a third tail light.....also started working on a metal grill with flames cut out but that’s still in the “to do” box.

Again I had some time to kill and there was no hood on the car so I’m like ok why not.

After it was done, it was all a little dirty but with 10 other cars in the shop getting dust and who knows what everywhere what do you expect.

Finally got the car in the paint booth and masked off.....THIS was a good day

I think this was the last coat of base before the clear…looked freakin awesome compared to the original color is all I remember haha.

Last coat of clear unmasked and gone home LATE that night


2 days of wet sanding and buffing by myself.

Outside for the first time in 4 months

Added some clear corners a few weeks later

Last summer got these lazer cut out of vyinal I’m going to mask and paint that on there since this winter they shrank a bit.

Also last summer I installed the NEW sound system, no more MTX ….put that in my Monte for the hell of it. It still worked just was getting old..

The Flames were added just before May started. Took me JUST about 3 days to get done.
