First, The best site for Isuzu cars would be here at Isuzone.org , wich has tons of information about Isuzu cars (such as the Isuzu Impulse, Stylus, I-Mark, and Geo Storm), Maintenance, and places to buy products for Isuzu cars.

now,

Introducing the New Trooper Stylus:

This is not how the car looks now (photoshopped pic). The pictures below are how the car looks now. Its just this is what I basically plan to do next to the body of the car, which is finish the blue stripe all the way around, and put a matching fender flare in the back. I also want to put a WRX hood scoop, a pop-up sunroof, and a roof extension in the back but just a small/medium one not one of those huge ugly ones. I just couldn't photoshop those on too well to see how it would look.

The car is originally an Isuzu Stylus S-model. after totally destroying all the front body panels (see in pg.3) from several things like off-roading and stunt jumping, I wasn't able to get all the parts I would need to replace the front panels with the original ones. So I decided to put the front of an 89 trooper on it. Partly because it would be easier than most other car fronts I had, and also I thought it would be pretty cool to have a truck front on my car to give it a tougher look. Hence, The Trooper Stylus was born.

The car has 13" rims from an '86 Beemer 3-series, and they all have new chrome center caps. I plan on getting them powder-coated gold like the Subaru WRX rims, either that or if I find some 15" rims that are similar style and get those powder-coated. I don't want to go bigger than that 'cause I am really rough with the car and would probably mess up any rim that doesn't have a thick enough tire on it. (bend the rim on potholes and rocks and stuff like that)

I have 2 800 watt 12" Audiobahn DUB series subwoofers (for a total of 1600 watts), and one 600 watt amp, wich is powering both with only 300 each but I plan on getting another 600 watt amp so I have one for each. the front two door speakers are Lightning Audio 100 watt 4" speakers and the back speakers are 200 watt 8" Roadmaster speakers (they're actually subs but I'm using them as regular speakers cause they handle loud volumes better). The head unit is a CD/MP3 player wich supports MP3 CD's up to 256 songs. nice system overall. I'll try to get pics of the system soon.

Pic of my front head/fog lights at night. I have a switch for the fogs on the left side of the dash where there are empty panels in the dash for people to put extra switches in. I had to wire the switch directly to the battery since it has a very heavy load for the lights.

I customized my rear window brake light to have 'STYLUS' written on it every time it lights up when the brakes are pressed. I may customize my corner rear lights somehow but I'm not sure right now.

I painted the radio dash trim and ash tray below it blue, and replaced the center console with a dk blue one from an automatic Geo Storm. The only difference from the manual one I had is, around the shifter boot it is raised up wich works good for me since I put an aftermarket boot and shifter head on. (helps hide the bottom of the shifter boot wich is just zip tied to the metal below the console). The blue wire around the boot and the shifter knob both light up blue, with the blue light-up wire on the boot hooked up to the car so it comes on every time I turn the car on and the knob runs off batteries. I'm going to see if I can wire it to the car instead of using batteries. I'm probably going to paint the brown part of the knob blue also. I replaced the whole instrument cluster and dash peice with a dk blue one from the Geo Storm wich has a tachometer in it. (the original one didn't have a tach.) I Screwed in a double cup holder, wich is adjustable, on top of the dash since the car doesn't really have a place for a cup originally.

I have put two blue neons in the front and did the same for the back but they're purple instead. below the radio I made it light up 'STYLUS' by installing blue lights inside the plastic peice that normally goes there and glued on a peice of plexi-glass that I stenciled stylus on. All the interior lights are wired to the ignition accessory switch so they all turn on when the car is turned on (and off when the switch is off). Also all the installation was done by me professionally and not a single wire can be seen anywhere. Also I put two extra cig. lighter sockets on the left side of the dash so I can plug more than one thing in. you can see it in the picture of my dash in the very left side of the picture (blue thing behind the steering wheel).

The car is the S-model so it has the 12-valve SHOC engine in it. I have done a complete rebuild of the engine including crank bearings and piston rings. decided to give the engine a new look so i painted the valve cover and intake gold (after stripping and cleaning them) and recovered the wiring harness w/ blue covering for the intake. all parts of the engine were thoroughly cleaned and resurfaced and all gaskets replaced. I put a cone filter from Auto Zone on it wich is just as good if not better than the K&N filters. In fact i can't tell the difference if i drive with the filter on or off the intake. i also put a new exhaust manifold 'cause the old one was cracked, and i also completely straight-piped the exhaust all the way to the back. nice and powerful. also nice and loud.

Aamir, what UP man. This is Azeem. Glad to hear you're back in town. I had no idea there was such a long history behind that stylus. At the beginning I thought it was just some crazy thing you were trying to do but now that i've seen how dedicated you are to it, all i gotta say is that I respect your work and hope you keep doing what you do. Peace bro.
