This years Cruise to the Woods was a lot different than in the past.  Usually on Saturday there is a cruise through some wooded parks but this year saturdays events were held at a local drag strip.  I dont have any pics from there but I do have a few vids that I will post up later once I get them organized.  But like usual I took tons of pics and here they are, well at least most of them.

These first pics are from Saturday, the cruise to the drag strip and a good friend and I decided, mainly he decided and I agreed, since there wasn't a cruise through the woods we would find some woods of our own to cruise through and we found a small state park and drove through it and stopped to view the scenery.

 

 

 

 

 

These next pics are starting off at the K-mart in Ames where a few of the cruise routes meet up and leave from there and then all 9 cruise routes will meet up in a small town and take up the entire main road, 3 lanes wide as well as a few side roads.  We stay there for about an hour then we all leave from there.  When leaving the town is it is usually customary, if you car, do a burnout for the croud.  I did a small one but there was no one around to get any pics of it and I got separated from my friend and he did a massive burnout and I could't even get it on video.  The cruise leaves from there and everyone meets up at the county fair grounds in Fort Dodge where a lot of other cars are already there and didn't go on the cruise.  There ended up over a 1000 cars there.  Not sure on an exact count but I will post it up as soon as I know.  Well, enough about all that.  Here are the pics.
