Exterior
I put in the Arospeed springs and the KYB GR2 gas struts. Its such a nice ride. A couple of these are from my first car show, i got third in the import class in Georgia.
A good drop? I think so. I've tried Pirreli PZERO NERO M+S shoes on, and some Kumho Ecstas. Pirellis better for look and performance but if you get 20000 out of em you drive like a pussy!
In these pics you can see the R1 racing rims and the tint. The rims are 17" and the tires are 205/40/R17. The white ones are used Eagle Wheels, they aint bad, its a nice change. I didnt think the rims would look as good as they do but for the price i figured id have em powder coated if necessary. Guess not. Which do you like better???
Some of the newest editions are the visor strips and the awesome carbon fiber hood! Fiber Images did a great job, well worth the wait.
I dremmled and painted the stock grill and used the extra mesh after i was finished with the hood vents, looks 150% better.
I spent the time to remove the badges from the trunk deck to give a much cleaner look. I finally found some emblems to replace those OEM ones...so sweet.
In these pics as you can see i have done some modifications to the head and tail lights.
In these ones you can see the old Audiobahn banner and the rest of the exterior. Some different emblems and below the new 'tenna, a little before and after all around.
Heres a little upgrade to my garage if you will. Fuckin sweet! Top o the line and fast as hell.
Future Plans
At the moment I haven't really done anything to the engine other than a strut tower bar by MUSSA RACING and plugs wires and intake, just picked up an exhaust, from EVOFUSIONUSA.com. As you can see i just put a ground wire kit in, looks cool. Cant really do a body kit and but really needs paint job, but thats probably a fair ways off. The goal is mainly the looks though - cost too much to make it fast, it's a Hyundai.
Here are some pics of the unforeseen upgrades that had become necesary...
...a little addition to the "e", a SPEC stage 2 clutch with kevlar disc and pressure plate from NIPPON Power, and a Clutchmasters lightweight aluminum flywheel from MMR motorsports.
