Here's my 1988 Trans Am GTA. She's one of only a few thousand grey models made in 1988 and probably only one of a few left in existence. I would be very interested to find out what the actual numbers are.

Nice looking GTA. Like you, I own a 1988 Gunmetal GTA. Come by and check out my page. For gathering information about your GTA, check out the GTA Source Page. There's a bunch of great information there that will help you decipher what you've got. Again, nice looking 'Bird.

Hey! Thanks for signing my guestbook and checking out my ride. I appreciate your comments. You asked how my car was mechanically. It runs great...when I bought it, I started it up and drove it the 30 miles home...so that's gotta count for something. The engine runs strong and smooth, the transmission shifts excellent and the rear end is great. The brakes are almost brand new as well as the Flowmaster exhaust. It does run a little rich but nothing that some carb work cant fix. It does need some front end work but it stops straight. I would evenutally like to put in a posi rear and get rid of the rear drum brakes in the process but that's a little down the road after I do the interior and minimal body work. Other then what I mentioned there, it is a solid car and runs and drives great. In fact, it drives better then a car that costs 3 times as much. I got a heck of a deal...only $500. I'm glad to have it. Keep me updated on your progress with your car. I'm adding you to my friends list so I can check back.

My Wife bought one of these, but instead of putting a larger engine in it, she took out the stock 350 and put in it a bunch of books. Weird, huh?
