This Pheonix Red 914, complete with optional appearance package and heated rear window rolled off of the assembley line in August 1972 and was sold by Auto Forum in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The original owner drove the car daily until about 1978 and then it followed him from Montreal to Red Deer, Alberta, Canada where it was parked in the owners garage in 1982. The owner parked it for a future restoration project as the years of driving in Montreal salty winters was showing its toil. The car sat in this quiet state until 2003.
