This is a new year and were back to the river. This pics were take on July 14 and 15 2007.
This summer has started with a BANG! Literally.
You will see as you procede trough the pics.
As we go to the river I was following Timo's M&M on steroids. As he entered the river in 2wd he go stuck and then quickly found out that he had no traction on the front wheels.... Just an awful grinding came out..
After we got him out he decided he would just take on the river on 2WD, as you can see. He didnt get far, hummm Id say, 50 yards.
We pulled Tim out for the second time and this time he busted his rear driveshaft... The bad luck begins.

This is our newest addition "Clifford" owned by Kevin, AKA DIESEL, yes, the one from the first pages with the fullsize bone stock diesel. I guess he got tired of buying new engines and transmisions for his work truck so he bought one just for the river..

Good ole Stutman desided to bring out his new Jeep and meet us half way. He didnt reach us, so this is what we found ... when we found him.

Here I attempted to pull out Clifford and the Jeep out at the same time. As I was making some progress the tow strap broke.

The boys were getting bored so they started wrestling in the water.. Im sure Timo had to work out his frustration and what better outlet than Rugboy ( George ).

The next day we ventured again without the M&M on steroids, I got a feeling that it will be out of commision for a while.
Once again, Stuthman was gonna catchup to us after he got his MOUNSTERO fixed.
As we moved along we found some quick sand pretty much simultaneosly. Eric's Toyota sunk first and HOW! It took only seconds to bury the rear end up to the flatbed. Simon's Samurai lost traction next and as he was sinking I started to do the same. I switched to reverse and dropped the clutch. I made safely out and helped the others..
After that we found a spot to wait for the MOUNSTERO. Simon go bored so he went and got himself stuck..
The Yota went to the rescue but lost traction. Lots of quick sand out here this year.
Since there was no one else left I hooked up to both of them and pulled them right out ( patting my self in the back :D )
As I was getting done playing BEAST among MICE the Mounstero showed up and my truck crapped a BRICK!
Ofcourse, Stuthman made a nice entrance and circled around us. He drives very good but we all wonder how he does it as he NEVER takes his eyes away from his tires...
TIRES! TIRES! TIRES!! ( if marrying a tire were legal this boy would have done it already. ) LOL

And here is where it gets kinda bad... This is where i break both diferentials. I broke a rear shaft and I still dont know what is broke on the front one since I havent worked on it yet. Im not sure I really wanna findout...
My first mistake was driving in a high gear and getting stuck.
My second mistake was letting good ole Brickfoot, Captain Throttle drive it as I ran the winch.. HAHAHA just kidding TIMO!! ( or am I? )

Since the winch couldnt do it, it was time to work..
Once we got it out this is what we all saw.. Weird huh?
After some help from all of the guys we got running and I limped home.
Thanx for all the help guys!!
I now owe Stuthman an axle.
