WOW!!!
This was the most exciting run weve had! We finally made it to broken bridge as we had planned. Once we got there we noticed that the water was rising rapidly, maybe from the rain we had the prior night. We didnt get much rain but it had oviously rained enough out west. On our way to our destination there were sandbars all over where we could jump from one to the other, on the way back there was none.. The river gained an easy foot of water and the current was fast...
Today was also the first day for both Wild Bill on his newly modified 85 Long Box F150 and Taint with his new 79 Jimmy. Taint had a heck of a time since he foundout his engine was taking in lots of water...

So we used a tire tube instead.

As I said at the begining, Taint joined us. He was late so he desided to travel up river to meet us, but only made it half way. Here is how we found him...
So tim went to help out... Its nice to have another big rig along to share some of the pulling. It saves wear on my rig :)
Taint even brought his own recovery strap..

Taint's truck desided to take a leak....

The imports bailed out early. It was probably a good idea since the last mile was hell.
We could have taken the easy way out but we had to pull Taint's truck back...

So I ended up towing Taint's truck back to town... It was a difficult chore since the water was about 4 foot deep most of the time for the last mile.... I dont know how my Blazer made it through all of that while towing another K5. But we did it... I was driving with about 6 inches of water on my floorboards... It was kinda scarry. I burried the blazer a few times while pulling the Jimmy but managed to back up and keep pulling...

Im glad Timo didn't bail out since he was my only chance of getting out, even with his truck running in two wheel drive he was there, ready to help.... THANX TIM!!!!
