This is an '83 T/A, relatively stock. It has all almost the cool body options: T-Tops, cowl induction hood, 15" gold turbo fin rims, rear side deflectors, air extractors in the front fenders, power windows/locks, power anteanna (which never has worked and probaby never will). In the interior, you'll find a Dino leather racing wheel, cloth seats from a 2000 Camaro, and a 40-channel CB mounted on the center console (a nice, long whip antenna is on the roof behind the T-Tops. I also wired two switches into the dash: one which locks the torque converter, and another which disables the VSS signal to the ECM, allowing me to exceed the electronically goverened speed limit of 110mph. Under the hood, there is a tired LG4 305ci V8, sporting a computer-controlled Quadrajet. I've removed most of the smog recovery system, along with all of the A/C system, and I've also installed a homemade strut tower brace. The lower steering column was replaced with one from a 2000 or so Chevy Astro van. The one from the Astro does not have a rubber rag joint, but rather a solid metal U-joint, which cuts down on steering wheel play. The transmission is a rebuild 700r4, which has been updated with all the goodies, such as the Corvette servo. The rearend I stole out of a '96 Firebird, and it has factory GM disc brakes and limited slip.
