How I "re-painted" my Bronco II:

This is for you Photoshop users who are curious as to how I did it.

The first step was to chose a picture I wanted...

Then, I created a new layer. This layer in effect became my "contour layer" I created the contours and shading of the vehicle. I used different shades of grey to light the vehicle differently depending on the light source. Those of you reading from GR.net, this is very similar to making wrinkles for a uniform.

Now, I studied the original picture and used it as a guide. The parts fo the car lighter in the image were in turn lighter in greyscale. I used an almost white color to create curves and define body-lines.

This is what I got...

Now, that's really the hardest part.

The pattern was a bit different. I wont detail this too much, because it will vary. But I created a repeating pattern. I used the Transform>Skew tool to put the pattern in perspective. Thanks to Modder Earl for this trick. Because the car was angled in the picture, I had to make the pattern "angle" as well. So that was a matter of making the pattern match the lines of the vehicle body.

Next was the hood, the trickiest part. I had to make the pattern match as closely as I could so that way it would "flow" on to the hood and match up. That was the same process, as above, only a bit harder.

To finish it off, I touched up the pattern with some airbrushing and some "liquifying" to make all the liens match up and look as much like a non-repeatative pattern as possible...

I went back and did some detailing, cutting out patterns in places it didn't need to be, making the side mirrors appear, making the cow all one color etc. Things that make it look a bit better. Then, I put it all together. I made the grey layer "Overlay" and set it on top of the Camouflage and the Vehicle, and voila!

Other Possible Camos...

USA Standard Woodland Camouflage:
This one looks different because I found an almost self repeating pattern, however, it was a scan of the actual uniform, so it has a "texture" to it.

British Woodland Camouflage:
-Ugly, I'm not gonna touch it.

British Desert Camouflage
This one looks odd because I got bored and it looks repeatative.

I think it's a wonderfull suv, however don't let the army get a hold of it. Now you need to put the truck in mud, where they like to be to cool off haha
