Heh, maybe it's time to update
Last I remember, I had just removed the old 305. Most ppl would think the job should be done by now, but it's not. The engine swap is all done and the car runs, but the entire project itself is ongoing, as is with everyone really.
A lot of changes were made from the original plans. I've accumulated so many pictures so I'll try to get them in chronological order.
Here is the new block fresh from the machine shop, the engine partially assembled on the stand, and eventually in the car.

I ended up using Brodix heads rather than the World pair. Different valve covers than originally planned. Holley intake manifold. 10.3:1 CR, approx. 425bhp
