Under Construction

Page 1. The lowdown...
Car was purchased mid July, 1997 from Classic Chevrolet in Mentor, Ohio. It was my first car and I was 17 years old. It's been through a few trials and tribulations and now is on the road to recovery and restoration.
Now the first 5 years of owning this vehicle, I was the furthest thing from an automotive enthusiest. To me a loud stereo system is all that mattered. Biggest mistake of my life, but who said youth equals intelligence.
Now times have changed and so have I. In the summer of 2002, a few new friends of mine were into cars (imports...yay) and they would go to the local dragstrip on wednesday nites and race their cars. One day they invited me to go and I did. It was a life changing experience. Now as a kid my parents would take me to this same drag strip to watch the funny cars and such, but being behind the wheel makes it a whole new experience. And the best part is that my bone stock TBI 305 was faster than all my buddys cars. That day was the start of a new era for me and my car. I started researching about my car online day and nite which led me to a few online car forums, there is where I learned the most about my car and what routes to go with it.
