'91 Honda Prelude SI

June of 2004 I needed a new car, expecting to buy an old crappy Civic or Accord my dad and I ran across this beautiful ?91 prelude. We got it for an excellent price because the previous owner was moving to AZ, and a black car (with broken AC) in hot weather isn?t too fun.
This was the first prelude I had ever driven, and I was amazed by how well it handled. It had pretty dang good acceleration for a 4 banger also!
The first thing my dad and I did to the car was tried to fix the AC. We took it to a shop and got it retrofitted, but the AC would turn on and then off. The mechanics tested all of the parts, but after an hour could not figure out what was wrong. My dad and I decided to take a look and after further investigation realized that someone had probably hit a bump or a curb or something and broke on of the wires to the AC compressor clutch.
We re-soldered the wires and the AC has worked perfectly since.

I then put a descent Pioneer deck in, and hooked up new Sony
Xplode/Infinity speakers. It sounded really nice.
Car Alarm system:
I purchased a pretty cheap Alarm/Keyless entry system off of eBay and installed it. Now I know why they suggest that you have a professional install it, it was hard to find the correct wire in several inch thick wiring harness's. It ended up being an awesome addition to my car...works great!
New Tires:
My car needed brand new tires so I purchased these BFGoodrich tires. They?ve performed real well so far.
