*UPDATE* 11/15/08
After fixing an oil leak, I went to start it and a wire going from the batterey to the starter to the alternator burnt up. It also went right beside the transmission which appears to be where everything went wrong. I need to drop the transmission. After that, I want to get a new torque converter and wiring kit. This thing right now is as reliable as it was in 1960.

I finally drove it on the road and started breaking in the motor. Here are some new pictures.
*UPDATE* The motor is finally rebuilt. I started it for the first time last weekend. I still need to fine tune somethings. Pictures are at the bottom.

Well, I guess it doesnt matter right now, supercharge or turbo charge. No money, means no money. Its up and running again. The oil lines were leaking and the radiator was crap. After 4 months, its good now. I now have interior pics as well...
*UPDATE* 3/18/05
Ive decided to twin turbo charge the 289. The supercharger was what I was going for, but it would stick to high out, and with the turbos, it would be more of a sleeper :)
I also ran it at Summerduck here (1/8th mile) and it ran a 9.9. A bit slow. I will run it again in April.
What you see above is a 1960 MG MGA, slightly modified. The nose has been modded so it resemebles a Shelby Cobra. The great thing about this car is that its all still MG. The frame, is original, as is the suspension. Only thing different is the power house.
It has Cooper Cobra GTS tires, 4 lug in the front and 5 lug in the rear, and American Racing rims.
The gas tank was completely refinished, inside and out.
The old 4-cylinder motor has been replaced with a 289 V8. I wont get into the specifics of the motor itself, but it is modded. Also, I do know that the radiator is in bad shape, I plan on getting a new one.
10/23/05 - This is how the engine bay looks now.
