blakbeast's 1999 Chevrolet Silverado

(Above is a pic of the truck 3 days after I purchased it).

Three weeks after I bought the truck I had a wreck. It didn't total the truck out, and I had full coverage.(Whew! I'm sure glad I did). My dad owns a trucking business and body shop so we took the money from the insurance company and totally customized my truck to be like no other Silverado on the road. I went with something that I really haven't seen in the truck customization world. First of all I replaced all damaged parts that weren't going to be custom with GM Certified parts. Then I boght a GM Certified Hood for a 2002 Silverado HD Diesel. Then I went to Street Scene for all of my other customizations. I put on an SS Silverado front bumper, Cal-Vu sport mirrors, a wiper cowl, and a billet bowtie and grill to go into my new gloss black painted grill shell. For wheels I'm goin with 20" Boyd Coddington Patriots but they're not goin on until spring/summer, and to make everything pull together, a Belltech 2-4" drop with Toxic shocks. Although the motor is bone stock, it'll still fly. It's equipped with power everything on the interior and has a 4.8L Vortec V8. Soon some interior customizations are gonna be put in. As for a system i replaced all of my stock speakers with Infinity Reference speakers. I put an Eclipse 3434 cd/mp3 head unit in, and a 3 way crossover. I also want to drop about a grand in the motor by adding a hypertech tuner, Jet mass air flow sensor, Jet throttle body spacer, K&N cold air intake, and long tube headers, but some of that will have to wait until summer. This will be the light, full size, MUSCLE TRUCK that will display true chevy power. Tell me what you think. Thanks for looking!
