2006 Season In Review

Well another season is over, and I've gone from drifting a semi street car to wheel to wheel racing a full out race car. The car is 100% gutted now and turning more and more into a full out race car every day. The doors are gutted, windows are no more, wipers gone, heater/ac/blower/ductwork is all out, EVERYTHING is out of the car that I can possibly remove. Racing at Mosport was amazing this season, 3 1st place finishes and a few 2nds and 3rds, lots of fastest in class and fastest overal qualifying times. It was an amazing year. Check out the last page for some pictures.
Next year I'll repaint the car and clean it up so it actually looks respectable again. God this car has been through a lot. From stock to street prep to drift to full out race car. Who would have thought? Thanks cardomain for letting me track my cars history over these past few years!

2005 Season In Review
Well it's been some time since i've updated this page, and as the season comes to a close its a good time to update this page. Over the summer a bunch of fun stuff happened.
I dyno tuned a car for the first time ever, making 326whp at 16psi and just shy of 300wheel torque, I also went drag racing for the first time ever, with the 18s on the year old street tires and coils on the back the car did a 2.0 60ft (if I was a better driver it would have done a 1.9 maybe 1.8) and ran a 12.6 @116mph, on used drag radials and stock rear suspension the car did a 1.8 60ft and ran a 12.2 @ 118mph (faster trap due to it being a night pass).
I also won my first trophey in a CSCS Gymkhana Event in July, fasted Overall and fasted RWD. My team was invited to Sunset Speedway near cookstown for a drift exhibition at a small oval circuit. The crowd loved the half time show and said it was their highlight of the night, I had an absolutly great time doing that. Overall it was a great season.
I'm just about finished with drifting for now, and will proceed to apply all of my efforts into regional racing. This winter my friends and I will tear the entire car apart to the bare shell, cage and paint it, and then rebuild it with only the parts it needs hopefully keeping the weight under 2500lbs. Re-dyno tune the car and we'll be good to go!
Check out Page 5 for more detailed updates including video and pictures.
Goal
Every car should be built with a goal. The goal of this car was to be a driveable street car, while being very competitive in SOLO1 as well as Drift Events in north east US and Ontario/Quebec Canada. 2006 will be all road racing without any drifting, while 2005 will be mostly drifting and lapping days. The car is no longer currently a street car, however since it may be in the future again, I'm going to try to keep her driveable as long as possible (no reason for it to become otherwise really)
