Now for the "BumbleBee" stripe... I did some internet looking to see how they were placed, what they all looked like, and came up with a decent design,
I designed it myself on a CAD program (I used to design and apply vehicle graphics for a living)and my buddy cut it out in high-performance black vinyl... here I am applying the final version.
It's fairly cheap and easy if ya know what your doing...
Final stripe
Bought a "Herculiner" kit for the bed, a self applied (roll-on) kit from JCWhitney for about 80 bucks... took a weekend, looks great and is as tough as nails. Beats paying a shop 400 bucks to spray one on, that's for sure!
I'm sticking back on the last little detail - the black Pentastar on the hood, felt so good to be done!
Here we are at the first carshow of her life... walked away with a top 40 (out of 151 entries), so I was real proud!
