All taped up and ready for the sealer primer, just a little more sanding left to do.
This is after 2 coats of sealer primer (sanding between), 3 coats of custom mixed Lime Green base/clearcoat, and 3 coats of clear... watching the paint dry!
The mistake I made was to do the interior first... and picking that wild "LimePunchGreen" vinyl. When it came time for me and my paint guy to mix the paint, jeez... we worked half a day just trying to get the mix right. The old "Limelight" Green that Chrysler used looked like pea-soup next to my interior... so we just kept mixing.
The end result is one of the most vibrant, mouth watering, smack ya' in da' face greens you've ever seen. I get looks and thumbs up from EVERYONE who see's her purr by! It's great!
